The hotel is located in a beautiful nature reserve, with stunning views of the river and wildlife lakes. the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. the staff show great professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent service. the hotel is also convenient for birdwatchers, with many birdwatching sites nearby. A good English breakfast is served, and early morning or evening walks in the area are perfect for birding.
The restaurant experience was disappointing, with limited vegetarian options and dishes that lacked flavor and creativity.

We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings with a river and wildlife park, and it's really easy to get to Ropery Hall, which is only 1 mile away.

Group of 14 Sunday lunch 16/10/2016
None.
14 people ate Sunday lunch 9 of us serious food poison. Hotel as just fobbed us off they have no interest in resolving. Visited 3 times so far but no one willing to speak about it. Stay and eat if you fancy few days in bed of work. Shocking attitude.

Located in a beautiful area near a nature reserve and river. Hotel and restaurant were clean and well-maintained.
The restaurant had some issues with maintenance, such as bulbs not working and a lack of dimming facilities. The meal was average, with limited vegetarian options and some dishes not meeting expectations.
